Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

       The main objectives of this research are : i) to study the principles of administration of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in accordance with Sappurisadhamma VII; ii) to compare the opinions towards the  administration of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in accordance with Sappurisadhamma VII, classified by personal factors; and iii) to study the problems and guidelines of administration with Sappurisadhamma VII Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya  University. The sample comprised of 300 staff who work in Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. The tool for data collection was a questionnaire which consisted of three parts, namely, part 1 : the personal data, part 2 : questions measuring and assessing the opinions toward administration with 5 levels.     The reliability of questionnaire is 0.759, and the part 3 questions are about the compatible principles of administration with Sappurisadhamma VII of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. The data was analyzed   by social scientific program by employing statistical techniques such as frequencies, percentage, mean, standard deviation and one-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA).

 

 

 

The results of this study are concluded as follows:

                       The exemplary staffs are mostly monk (41.33 %), with the age between 41-49 years old (35.33 %), the education at the level of master’s degree (58.33%), the position of teachers (32.67) and working experiences between 5-10 years (39.67%).

                       The overall administration of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in accordance with Sappurisadhamma VII was at a good level (  = 3.85). When taking each aspect of Sappurisadhamma VII into consideration, it was noted at a high level in all aspects as following : the Dhammanyuta/Knowing the law (  = 3.77), Atthanyuta/Knowing the meaning
(
 = 3.88), Attanyuta/Knowing oneself (  = 3.77), Mattanyuta/Knowing how to be temperate (  = 3.81), Karanyuta/Knowing the proper time (  = 3.81), Parisanyuta/Knowing the assembly (  = 3.91), and Pukkaranyuta /Knowing the individual (  = 4.00).

in accordance with Sappurisadhamma VII.
Staff are classified by personal factor such as social status, it was noticed that there was no significant differences even at .05 level of significance, rejecting the formulated hypotheses, but staff are classified by personal factor was found that sex, levels of education, positions of university staffs and working experience were statistically different at .05 level of significance, accepting the set hypotheses.

                       Guidelines for Improving the administration of the University in accordance with Sappurisadhamma VII. Dhammanyuta (Knowing the law), started by selecting a person with knowledge. Personal development of the old knowledge. Including the development of the modern enterprise. And public relations. Personnel realize the goal of the university administration. Atthanyuta (Knowing the meaning), Measures the benefits and disadvantages along with the operation of programs. Attanyuta (Knowing oneself), to train personnel at all levels. Knowledge of line of responsibility. And insertion of the principles at the same time. Mattanyuta (Knowing how to be temperate), Campaign and Contest "to use less, reuse recycle". Karanyuta (Knowing the proper time), all agencies must prepare plans and programs accordingly. Parisanyuta (Knowing the assembly), various activities for the staff should have participated most In order to develop skills and capacity to work and ready to learn more about the Organization. Pukkaranyuta (Knowing the individual), organized a meeting of the unit frequently to exchange ideas with each other and apply the concept to various organizations to develop balance.
