Abstract

 

          The objectives of this researchwere entitled Dhamma for administrators as recorded in SuttantaPitakaAngkuttaraNikaya were; 1) to study Dhamma for administrators as recorded in SuttantaPitakaAngkuttaraNikaya, 2) to categorize the Dhamma for administrators and 3) to propose the application of Dhamma for administrators.

          The methodolofy was the qualitative research collecting data from the Buddhist scriptures; SuttantaPitakaAngkuttaraNikaya as the primary source and other Buddhist texts as the secondary source as follows:

1) Studied and compiled Dhamma for administrators and explanation inSuttantaPitakaAngkuttaraNikaya from Akanipata, section 1 to Akatasanipata section 11, from section 1 to 11

2)  Studied the simplified explanations in short and in detail of Dhamma for

Administrators  fromAttakathaManorathapurani.

3)  Studied the opinions, comprehension and explanations of  Dhamma for

administrators from SuttantaPitakaAngkuttaraNikaya as appeared in other Buddhist texts

 

 

 

 

          Findings:

There are 60 titles of Dhamma for admistrators selected from TipitakaAnkutaranikaya volume 1-4; Tutikanipata to Tasakanipata. From these 60 titles, the most appropriate Dhamma for administrators today are of 18 titles; they are LokapalaDhamma of 2, Hiri, moral shame, Otappa, Moral dread, Rare Persons of 2, previous benefactor and grateful persons, Sammaditthipaccya of 2, Paratokosa, learning from others and Yonisomanasikara, analytical reflection, Patisanthara, hospitality of 2, worldy hospitality and doctrinal hostitality, Dhamma of 2, Lokiyadhamma and Lokutaradhamma, Gracing virtue of 2, Khanti, tolerance, Soracca, modesty, Bahukaradhamma, virtues of great assistance of 2, Sati, mindfulness and Sampajanna, insight development, Succarit of 2,  Merchant’s attributes of 2, Akati of 2, Sangkhahavatthu of 4,  Pathan of 4, Bala of 4, Vutthi of 4, Dhamma for prosterity of 5 and Sappurisadhamma of 7
