Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

                The objective  of  this  research is to study on the attitudes of  school  administrators and teachers toward moral and ethical development for Wat Dusitaram School, Bangkoknoi District, Bangkok. By objectives. Education is perceived by administrators and  teachers toward ethical development of students Dusitaram Valley High School. Comparison of opinions of administrators and teachers toward ethical development of secondary school students watdusitaram. And study the problems and suggestions to the opinions of administrators and teachers toward ethical development of secondary school students Dusitaram Valley. School administrators and teachers. The tool that is used for collecting the desired information from the ñðð samples is a set of questionnaire. The acquired data will be analyzed with statistical methods so as to find out the percentages, means and standard deviations of all sets of data. Afterwards, the results from the statistical analyses will be analyzed with an instant computer programme so as to find out the results of the t-test analysis, with the statistical significance level of ð.ðõ. These results will one of the research hypotheses.

                        The research results indicate that:

                         The studied school administrators’ and teachers’ attitudes can be divided into 4 respects, namely, policy setting, environs management, teaching administration and arrangement of student development activities. In the overview, the samples’ attitudes toward the ethical and moral development are in high levels. Considered separately, it is found that the respect that the samples have the highest level of attitude toward is the policy setting. At the same time, the respect of environs management came into the second place, followed by the respect of the arrangement of development activities whereas the respect of teaching administration obtains the lowest level of attitude.

                        The results from the hypothesis test reveal that the attitude of school administrators are different from those of the teachers with the statistical significance of ð.ðõ in the respects of teaching administration and activity arrangement.

                        In addition, both the administrators and the teachers suggest some solutions to the existing problems, i.e., that the school administrators should set clearer policies concerning students’ learning and teachers’ teaching, as well as that all important activities should be governed by clearer policies which will enable the students to have behaviors more agreeable to the goals and objectives.
