The research entitled “An Application of Iddhipada IV to Learning Responsibility Development of Upper Secondary School Students in Samutprakarn Province” is a quantitative research consisting of three main objectives, namely, i) to study an application of Iddhipada IV to learning responsibility development of Upper Secondary School students in Samutprakarn Province; ii) to compare an application of Iddhipada IV to learning responsibility development of Upper Secondary School students in Samutprakarn Province, classified by personal factors; and iii) to study problems and suggestions towards an application of Iddhipada IV to learning responsibility development of Upper Secondary School students in Samutprakarn Province. The survey research was employed in this study. The sample of this research consisted of 317 Upper Secondary School students in Phrapradeang District, Samutprakarn Province, being drawn from 1,712 students who enrolled in academic year 2013. The tool used for data collection was questionnaire. The gathered data were analyzed by using statistical techniques for social science such as Frequencies, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation. Inferential statistics of t-test and F-test were used to determine the differences in mean scores of both groups, and One-way ANOVA was used to determine the mean scores among three groups or more. Finally, the Least Significance Difference (LSD) was employed to test the differences between means of each pair.
The findings of the study are concluded as follows:
1) The overall students’ opinions towards an application of Iddhipada IV to learning responsibility development of Upper Secondary School students in Samutprakarn Province, had been found at the high level (4.07). Considering in details of each aspect, all were in good level, too.
2) With regard to comparison of an application of Iddhipada IV to learning responsibility development of Upper Secondary School students in Samutprakarn Province, classified by classified by gender, age, familial status, and occupations of father and mother parent, it was found that the differences of gender and age were significant differences at 0.05 level. Meanwhile, familial status and occupations of father and mother had no significant differences.
3) Suggestions reveal that: 1) there should be activities for students in order to work together and also to random members of working group for the sake of making friendship, 2) It should be practice as teamwork more often, 3) There should be an agreement between students to complete whole works on time before resting, and 4) Students should be trained in accepting friends’ opinions for solving problems and apply in daily life.
