Abstract

  The study entitled “Guideline to promote the role of Dhamma speakers in school clinic project under the religious affair department, ministry of culture” is qualitative research with the objectives of 1) studying the role of Dhamma speakers in school clinic project under the religious affair department, ministry of culture,  2) studying the problems, barrier, and suggestion of Dhamma speakers in school clinic project under the religious affair department, ministry of culture, 3) studying Guideline to promote the role of Dhamma speakers in school clinic project under the religious affair department, ministry of culture.

The populations used in this research were 1) the 2 owners of school clinic project, 2) the 4 Dhamma speakers in school clinic project, 3) the 4 schools directors under the project and 4) 16 students in school clinic project.
This research had found that the Dhamma speakers in school clinic project had understood their roles and responsibilities along the project objectives were coincided with basic roles of the project concerning to give consultation and issues solution, especially, the lack of moral and students’ ethic, enabling them round development and balance, making them an opportunity for learning Buddhist morality principles, reforming of both learning, moral and ethic development.
When referring to age of information, borderless trade and modern technology play a huge role causing changes that affect lack of morality in young Thai students triggering to problems and bad habits. So the department of religious affairs is conducting to promote the virtue ethics for young children, juveniles to be good generation by the establishment of moral education in school clinic project with widespread roles in promoting moral and ethical social welfare assistance, and there are talented Dhamma speakers to instill and reinforce moral values, ethics as well as culture and tradition values for students in school.
The roles of Dhamma speakers (Dhamma teaching lecturers) have applied and developed according to the era. Guidance counseling for students, who have problems in individuals and promote virtue morality as part of overall students training or supplementary training project with using the taught method of integrated technique from monks and teachers together. In order to achieve a more efficient and effective and lead Buddhist ways of Buddhism come to teach in public relations consultancy development and to solve problems. Villages, temples and schools are the art of giving, having a good relationship including the principles of Buddhism to students and a good attitude coordination to achieve solidarity among the unity of love.
Guidelines to promote the role of Dhamma speakers is to legislators for promote role of clergy in society,  training knowledge in various fields to the Dhamma speakers, there should be provided to measure and evaluate for the Dhamma speakers, to observe behavior or measure knowledge test. Department of religious affairs, academy, those involved training should provide knowledge about media and techniques for teaching media to the Dhamma speakers. So the Dhamma speakers are fairly self-development and enhance the role of Dhamma speakers.
