The Conflict Management of Police of Sida District Police Station in Sida District of Nakhonratchasima Province.

Abstract
This study aimed: 1) To examine the conflict management of the police in Sida police stations Sida district of Nakhonratchasima. 2) To compare the management of conflicts of policemen at the Sida Police Station by status and time of being in position. 3) To study the development of conflict management, the police at Sida Police Station. Tool used in the study was a questionnaire used in the study target group which is police officers and voluntary policemen at Sida police station, district of Nakhonratchasima. The study was done by analyzing the data using computer program. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, statistics of    t-test, statistics F-test, ANOVA statistics and statistical comparisons among the pairs of Safe. The results showed that.
1. The study shows that 5 ways of conflict management of police officers at Sida police station, Sida district, Nakhonratchasima province are in average level. Those conflict managements include avoiding, harmonizing, fighting, uniting, and compromising or negotiating. Considering each way finds that harmonizing is their first choice, followed by uniting and fighting, consecutively.
2. Generally comparing conflicts managements of police officers divided by ranks of policemen and voluntary policemen finds that they are not different in statistic. Considering each side indicates that avoiding, harmonizing, fighting, uniting, and compromising or negotiating also have the same rate in statistic. Therefore, the first hypothesis of this study, which states that policemen at Sida police station in different ranks have different methods to manage conflicts, is not true.
3. The result of comparing conflicts management of police officers at Sida police station is divided by 3 different terms of taking position which are less than 5 years, 5-20 years, and over 21 years. In this case of study, the survey takers are the police officers who are in different terms of taking position. The poll shows that these policemen have dissimilar ways of conflicts management. The differences are considered .01 in statistic. That means the second hypothesis which states that police officers at Sida police station who are in different terms of taking position have different ways of conflicts management is true.
4. In conclusion, one of the most inappropriate ways to manage conflicts is avoiding. When there is a conflict avoid problem is not an effective solution. The second way, harmonizing, is one of good ways to manage conflicts. Being direct and give a chance to each other are needed in this solution. The third way, fighting, is also inappropriate way of conflict management. Try not to do everything in selfish way, regardless to others.  Fourth, uniting is an efficient conflicts management. Policemen should keep in mind that all the problems are not that serious. The problem could be solved easily if everyone is united. The last one is compromising or negotiating. This is also one of the most appropriate conflicts management. The ways are to talk to each other and to make others agree willingly.
