The Role on Buddhist Propagation of Phrathepsuvarnmoli (Sa-ing Sirinando)

Abstract

                  The objectives of this research are: 1) to study the role on Buddhist propagation of Phrathepsuvarnmoli (Sa-ing Sirinando), 2) to study the principles and guidelines on Buddhist propagation of Phrathepsuvarnmoli (Sa-ing Sirinando), 3) to study  an application of Buddhist communication in propagation of Phrathepsuvarnmoli (Sa-ing Sirinando) The quantitative research was carried out in this research. The methodology was consisted of documentary research, structure interview and in-depth interview.

 The research results were as follows:

               1. Suphanburi population identified respect and gratitude as well as represented the achievement in the role on Buddhist propagation of  Phrathepsuvarnmoli (Sa-ing Sirinando) in teaching, propagate Buddhism in an appropriate training to ensure proper behavior to all Buddhists.

              2. Phrathepsuvarnmoli (Sa-ing Sirinando) clarified Buddhadham in a simple language. Not only applied in the daily life, but also the Threefold Training including the King’s speech which were the core of Buddhism to encourage the young generation and elderly to straightforward  in morality, following the path of Buddha, declaring by the methodology of metaphors, proverbs, fairly tales, life history with clearly communication .

 

               3. Phrathepsuvarnmoli (Sa-ing Sirinando) represented Buddhist propagation in  the four aspects such as clarify, incentive, encourage, and happy with the clarify presentation and appropriate language approached the highest level of benefit to the audience.

               In conclusion, Phrathepsuvarnmoli (Sa-ing Sirinando) revealed himself as a respectful Venerable, proactive dissemination, forward thinking, environmental conservation, to the public. Being the Abbot of Watpalaylai, Provincial Buddhist Monk Governor, Suphanburi Province endeavored the six aspects development of Sangha's administration such as supervision, education, welfare, propagation, utilities and public housing. With the philosophy : “Being alive exist, Being alive until last breathe, Being alive to society and Being alive to explore the heaven and earth.”
