From the study, it is found that Samatha-Pubbaṅgama-Vipassanā is the development of the Insight Meditation beginning with Samatha.  After reaching the Upacāra Samadhi or Appanā Samadhi, the mind is “ekaggata” and not be confused with the power of Nekkhamma, Samathayānika develops the Insight Meditation in Nāma-Dhamma.  The fixation of mind to know the Jhāna’s organ and Sampayutta Dhamma.  When one fixes one’s mind to know Nāma Dhamma, one will fix his mind to know both Rūpa Dhamma and Nāma Dhamma in some ways, or when the practice comes out of Jhāna-Samāpatti, he must know the arising of the 6 A̅yatanas as being Anicca, Dukkha and Anatta.

From the study the Samatha-Pubbaṅgamanaya Meditation Practice according to Phradhamsinghaburācārya’s Teaching, it is found that the Venerable emphasized the Sammāsamādhi for developing the Insight Meditation, beginning with the chanting of the Mantra, developing of Sati and Sampajañña, the fixing to know the 4 Iriyāpathas, the minor ones which is of the special characteristic, developing the Samatha Bhāvanā in the beginning and then developing the Insight Meditation.
