Abstract

                 This thesis had two objectives; 1) to study the satisfactions of Vipassana meditators of Ambavanpiyaram monastery, Mueang district, Phetchaburi province and 2) to study of problems, obstacles and suggestions on Vipassana meditation of practitioners at Ambavanpiyaram monastery, Mueang district, Phetchaburi province.

                 The samples used in this study were 132 persons.  The collected data was a quantitative research using the questionnaire which had total coefficient of reliability at 0.87. The statistical procedures used for analyzing data were descriptive statistics by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation for explaining data.

                 The results of research were found that satisfaction towards Vipassana masters was totally in high level especially his compassion, trusted manners and knowledge of insight. The satisfaction on public welfare management was in high due to enough and proper food arrangement and the place due to its convenience of journey and peaceful environment.

                      Results of satisfaction of laity were found that there was no different between lay women and men. Considering other factors, it was found that age, level of education and occupation were not different in insight practice at least significantly at 0.05.

                 Results of problem and suggestions were found that monastery should provide academic documents or papers for sufficient knowledge and the use in daily life. In respect of social welfare and arrangement, monastery should provide enough sleeping set and conveniences for participants and encourage them to clean up places and rooms.
