ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research were : 1) to study the roles of morality teaching monks in learning and teaching in Thepmongkhonrungsi schools Muang district, Kanchanaburi province, 2) to study the comparison of the opinions of students to the roles of morality teaching monks in learning and teaching in Thepmongkhonrungsi schools Muang district, Kanchanaburi province, 3) to study the problems and suggestions for the roles of morality teaching monks in learning and teaching in Thepmongkhonrungsi schools Muang district, Kanchanaburi province. The sampling group was 246 students of Tepmongkolrangsi school, Muang district, Kanchanaburi province. The research is a mixed research methodology between quantitative and qualitative researches. The statistics are used for the data analysis through such as percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D), T-test, F-test, One-way Analysis of Variance and Least Significant Difference : LSD., and the data analysis from interview was used by the content analysis technique.
The findings of this research as follows :
1. The students had the opinions to the roles of morality teaching monks in learning and teaching in Thepmongkhonrungsi schools Muang district, Kanchanaburi province. It is a good level for overall as an average as 3.872. When considered in each side found the students had the opinions to the roles of morality teaching monks in learning and teaching in Thepmongkhonrungsi schools Muang district, Kanchanaburi province that is also a good level as the highest level was the teaching and learning management as 3.935 in average and the lowest level was teaching technique and evaluation and revaluation was 3.848 in average.
2. The findings of comparison of the students had the opinions to the roles of morality teaching monks in learning and teaching in Thepmongkhonrungsi schools Muang district, Kanchanaburi province, tested the hypothesis, found that the questionnaire respondents who had the difference of age, level of education, had the opinions to the roles of morality teaching monks in learning and teaching in Thepmongkhonrungsi schools Muang district, Kanchanaburi province differently with significance of statistics at 0.05. It accepted the hypothesis. But the questionnaire respondents who had the difference of sex and Dhamma Education level, had the opinions to the roles of morality teaching monks in learning and teaching in Thepmongkhonrungsi schools Muang district, Kanchanaburi province indifferently. It rejected the hypothesis.
3. The problems, obstacles about the roles of morality teaching monks in learning and teaching in Thepmongkhonrungsi schools Muang district, Kanchanaburi province, found that lack of educated and able personnel, lack of the moral teaching monks, lack of skill in teaching medias, improper evaluation. For the suggestion, should recruit the educated and able moral teaching monks and have teaching technique, should have the training about the knowledge of teaching medias and should have the evaluation and revaluation of teaching and learning. The guidelines to support the roles of morality teaching monks in learning and teaching in Thepmongkhonrungsi schools Muang district, Kanchanaburi province, found that should manage the teaching and learning for both teachers and students have the facility with friendship by teachers must choose the proper teaching technique, using the modern teaching medias and should have evaluation and revaluation every time for improving the teaching and learning management and should let the students to have the practical for better study that it will be useful and can use in daily life.
