Abstract

Abstract

 The aim of this research was to find the administration effectiveness of the student support system based on Sangahavatthu4-dhamma IV (sagahavatthu4, bases of social solidity) in the basic schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 25. The research samples included 388 of educational administrators and teachers and the research tools were a rating scale checklist and an open end questionnaire. The statistics used were: Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test (Independent samples) and F (F-distribution).

  The research results were as follows:

1)  The statistic value of the administration effectiveness of the student support system based on Sangahavatthu-dhamma IV in the basic schools in overall was at a high level. The highest can be seen in the aspect of Student Transfers, followed by that of Individual Student Recognition, Student Development Support, Prevention and Problem Solvingand Student Recruitment’.

2) Based on the comparison, the statistic values of the administration effectiveness of the student support system based on Sangahavatthu-dhamma IV based on the opinions of the samples, classified by their school size both in overall and each aspect perspective were different with the statistical significance level at .01.

3) The suggestions based on the research results were that there should have training sessions so that the teachers are able to recognize each individual student; the administrators and stakeholders should supervise and assist the teachers in their responsibility; continuous learning management should be created; every involved stakeholder should be aware of the importance of the student support system; the administrators and teachers should always participate in student activities.
