The Research of Factors Affecting the Existence of Local Buddhist Literatures on the Beliefs of Merit-Sin in Surat Thani. The objectives of this dissertation were; 1) To study the local literature related to Buddhism in Surat Thani Province 2) To study principles related to merit-sin Buddhism 3) To study factors affecting the existence of local Buddhist literature in Surat Thani on the beliefs of merit-sin. In-depth-interview was used in strategic plan making Quantitative research defines the sample size using the Taro Yamane formula 400 samples Qualitative research, who provide important information, is the clergy, folk philosopher, Local scholars  and General scholars 20 persons. The research tools were questionnaire and Semi-structured interview about the Factors Resulting to the Existence of Beliefs in Merit-Sin According to Buddhism Appeared in Local Literature of Surat Thani.
