Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1. to study the Vuööhânavidhî Practice of Temples in Phetchabun Province, 2. to study the comparison the opinions of the study the Vuööhânavidhî Practice of Temples in Phetchabun Province, classified by personal factors, 3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions to the study the Vuööhânavidhî Practice Temples in Phetchabun Province.

The research methodology was the quantitative research, as a survey with questionnaires that had the reliability test at 0.759 of a sample group of 268 monks in  Phetchabun province, analyzed by social science program the statistics used are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test. With one-way analysis of variance and qualitative research with in-depth interviews with 9 key informants by using the descriptive content analysis techniques.

 

The findings of research were as follows:

        1. Management of the Vuööhânavidhî Practice of Temples in Phetchabun Province, found that the management has a good work system and emphasizing the transparency. Academician aspect, good knowledge academicians, leadership, harmony and compromise. Location aspect, has the convenience, calmness, cleaning and sufficiency for the work using the Vuööhânavidhî Practice Temples by enmphasizing management with transparency.

        2. The comparison of opinions of the principles and methods of principle of the Vuööhânavidhî Practice of Temples in Phetchabun Province found  3 aspects: management according to Dhammasappaya or Iddhipada IV such as Chanda(Aspiration) means the satisfaction , like , love good management, would start with sastisfaction, love like in the management as priority. Viriya(Effort or Energy) means to work hard , industrial, a person who is successful , must  work hard.  Citta(Mind or Thoughtfulness) means responsibility , focus on that work that the successful executives must have the responsibility and then will make the work successful , has the efficiency , effectiveness, quality. Vimaæsâ (Investigation) is to know the consideration that means must know the analysis, consider to improve, solution , management work and own development to have much knowledge and ability. However, executives know the consideration and analysis and then will make the decision correctly and use the mistake to be solved in the future.

        3. Problems and obstacles in the Vuööhânavidhî Practice of Temples in Phetchabun Province were as follows: 1) The abbot  of temple lacks of the vision for improving the place of temple. 2) The abbot of temple , does not have enough  building to welcome many people who behave in the Vuööhânavidhî Practice. 3) To lack of recruitment selection of young men to be ordained as the monks systematically.

        The suggestions : should use the principle of Dhamma to be applied for the management such as principle of Iddhibada IV are Chanda(aspiration), Viriya(Effort or Energy, Citta(Mind or Thoughtfulness) , Vimaæsâ (Investigation). 1) The abbot  of temple ,should improve the scenario of the temple to suit with geography and should have the rule to stay for behaving Vuööhânavidhî Practice. 2) The abbot of temple , should the worker to clean regularly, good fresh air, to protect the insects, to have the slipper in front of  the restroom, no bad smell and good cleaning basin. 3) The abbot of temple should develop the personality to impress the people, to know how to put the right man on the right job to match with the knowledge and to know the faith management of the people.
