Abstract

Objectives of this research were to: 1. study the development  management of Tambon the public training units of Sangha Order of Wang Noi Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, 2. compare towards development   administration pf Tambon  training units of the district Sangha Order, Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province classified by population data and 3. study problems, obstacles and suggestions Regarding the development management of the public training units of the district Sangha Order of Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.

Methodology was the mixed methods: The quantitative research collected data from 195 samples who were monks at Wang Noi District. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, number 195 by using questionnaires with a confidence value equal to 0.970. Data analysis with frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation One-way analysis of variance, ANOVA and test the difference of average values ​​by pairs by means of the least significant difference, LSD. The qualitative research collected data from 10 informants, purposefully selected from experts and related persons with structured in-depth interview script by face- to- face in-depth-interviewing.  Data were analyzed using descriptive interpretation method

Findings were as follows:

1. Development management of the sub-district public training units of the Sangha Order at  Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, in all 8 aspects, by overall was at a high level with the mean value at  3.96.Each of 8  aspects of development was also at high level as; Gratitude and gratefulness were at hihest level with an average of 4.01,followed by career promotion with an average of 4.00, followed by peace with an average of 3.99, followed by moral culture with an average of 3.98, followed by public welfare with an average of 3.96, followed by welfare education with an average of 3.92, followed by harmony with an average of 3.91 and the lowest in health and well-being  with an average of 3.91, respectively

2. The results of the comparison of monks’ opinions towards the development management of the public training units of the monks of Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province classified by personal status such as age, ordained age,Dharma education, Pali education, and general education. It was  found that monks with these different statuses did not have different opinions therefore rejecting the set research hypothesis.

3. 3. Problems and obstacles of the development management of public training units of the monks at Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province were that unity in organizing activities in the community, lack of cooperation as it should be. Health and well-being, There is no service unit of hospital to provides home services. Moral culture, people still lack knowledge and understanding the morality. Career promotion, There is no serious promotion from the government and related agencies. Peace, there is still  dispute and conflicts  within the community. Educational welfares,  Some children and young people do not have money for  tuition. Public welfares, lack of sufficient support as much as they should. Gratitude and gratefulness,  lack of respect from children because  parents do not  have time to teach tjeir children.

Recommendations are that people should live together in peace and harmony, accepting various differences in ideas,  public service to the general public must be continued, Public should be educated to comprehend that violence  bears bad effects. People should accept individual differences in opinions, culture, initiate monasteries as public centers for learning and common activities. Monasteries must be made into the pleasant, peaceful places to that young children and people will see the good examples. Dhamma teaching and learning should conducted regularly at lease once a week so that children and people will have opportunity to be near and absorb the Buddha’s teaching.
