Human Resource Development in Accordance with Four Paths of Accomplishment: A Case Study of Kiriwongvitaya School, Nakhon Sawan Province 2010

Abstract

This study had 3 objectives: 1) to study on human resource development in accordance with Four Iddhipadas (Paths of Accomplishment) of Kiriwongvitaya School, Nakhon Sawan Province; 2) to compare the personnel’s opinions on human resource development in accordance with Four Paths of Accomplishment by classifying on personal factors and 3) to study trends of application to use human resource development in accordance with Four Paths of Accomplishment.  This study was done in the form of Survey Research.

The sampling groups used in this study were 153 administrators, teachers, officers and students by using Simple Random Sampling Approach. Questionnaire was selected to be the research tool which made by the researcher consisting of 5 levels of evaluation and open-ended questions with the reliability value of 0.9405.  Data analysis was done by using processed program for Social Science (SPSS).  The statistics used in this study were the values of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test and one way-ANOVA.

The results revealed as follows:

Most of respondents or 98.69 percent are male. Respondents under 31 years old were 90.85 percent. Moreover, respondents having below bachelor degree of educational level were 88.24 percent. Respondents as the students were 87.58 percent.

Human resource development in accordance with Four Paths of Accomplishment of Kiriwongvitaya School, NakhonSawanProvince, it appeared that the personnel had put the Four Paths of Accomplishment into their performances such as Aspiration, Effort, Thoughtfulness and Investigation in order to create human resource development.  This showed in average at high level.  When considered at each item, it found that they were at high level for all.

When compared the personnel’s opinions on human resource development in accordance with Four Paths of Accomplishment of Kiriwongvitaya School, NakhonSawanProvince classified by sexes, ages, educational levels and positions took no different opinion.

The trends of application to use human resource development in accordance with Four Paths of Accomplishment of Kiriwongvitaya School, NakhonSawanProvince, it showed that personnel had to hold on the Four Paths of Accomplishment to perform their jobs.  By doing this, it led them to become the ones who loved and satisfied their jobs, worked with their best attempt and patience, put their hearts into their jobs and always inspected the success in the jobs done.  Such results came out to show us that human resource development would have more efficiency if the administrators and all the personnel gathering together to drive the jobs to their achievement in the future.
