Abstract

This thesis is aims at (1) studying the principles of the Buddhist morality for the  youth as appearing in the Buddhist Scriptures, (2) studying how to transfer the Buddhist morality is for the youth of rubber planning families and (3) studying analyzing the persons having relationship with the transferring of the Buddhist morality for the youth ies in the rubber planting families. This is a qualitative research based on documentary analysis and also a survey research from which the data were collected through questionnaires. The population was of  100 families in the rubber planting families. The data were analyzed by using the statistical program for social sciences to find out the percentage. The means as well as the F-test. The hypothesis is that the planting with different demographic in formation would have dissimilar ways of transferring Buddhist moralities.

                   From the research, it is found that the principles of the Buddhist moralities for the youth in the Buddhist Scriptures is the principle of gratitude and of repaying the done far our, of four paths the accomplishment, five precepts and virtues, six causes of ruin, and six directions.All Buddhist moralities use full for the youth and person or general perpal.

                   The method of transferring the Buddhist Doctrinal principles to the youth of rubber Planting families is the one to lay down the rules for the youths through the following means: setting rules to prevent them from doing bad things such as stealing, questioning and answering the questions, talking and conversing all of which is Lord Buddha ,s ways of Buddhist morality education. Regarding the tactic and the methods used for education including setting up oneself as an example such as no alcohol drinking, seeking good timing and opportunity like news update about the country, offering a flexible method such as not drinking alcohol only to promote a good digestion. And so on.

            Regarding the personal factors affected the way of transference the Buddhist morality to the youth of rubber planting families, it is found that the significant factors are the size of the family, the knowledge of family leader, the family’s income, and the family leader’s attitudes towards Buddhist morality. It is also found that the Buddhist morality transference was based on tradition, customs and culture. That is the Buddhist  morality  education is for society or done through the general social thinking method. The education is not to allow the youths to correctly apply the Buddhist morality to their daily lives. For example, in the principle of five precepts and virtues, they are the most teaching of not stealing, because a person who steals another person’s belongings is not accepted in societies. In fact, no alcohol drinking should be most taught because liquor results in acting against other principles of five precepts and virtues
