The Development of the Youths according to the Buddhist Way in Thai Societies 2011

Abstract

This thesis is of 3 objectives, namely:- 1) to study the development of the youths according to the Buddhist way 2) to study the development of the youths in Thai societies 3) the development of the development of the youths according to the Buddhist way in Thai societies

From the research it is found that the development of the youths according to the Buddhist way by studying the meaning of the youths’ behavior according to the Buddhist way. The cause of the undesirable behavior comes from craving. The goals to develop the youth are of three stages, namely:- 1) the present goal 2) the future goal 3) the ultimate goal. The beginning point of the development of the youths according to the Buddhist way is Sammdithi. To promote the youths’ desirable traits according to Buddhist way, the principles of Tisikk are use. The social institutions are Partoghosas which help to develop the youths.

The development of the youths in Thai societies, begins with the meaning of the youths’ behaviors which can be measured. The goals of the development of the youths in Thai societies are of four sides, namely : - 1) not to disturb oneself , 2) not to disturb other peoples, 3) to be responsible for one’s duty 4) to develop others and societies. The cause of the undesirable behavior arises from the family, the economics and the environments. The starting point of the development of youths is the good attitude toward the desirable behavior, or the traits to support the youths to have good behavior. To promote the desirable trait in Thai societies is the support of the trait in order to cause the desirable behavior to arise. That is the development of rules or Vinayas in oneself, the development of the emotional intelligence and the development of the analytical thinking. The roles played by the social institution are of the ones to teach the youths to cause the good behavior to arise, and to be the examples for other youths.

From the development of the youths according to Buddhist ways in Thai societies, it is found that there are ways the development of the youths according to the Buddhist way in Thai societies, namely : - 1) the meaning of youths’ behavior according to the Buddhist way in Thai societies  2) the cause of the undesirable behavior according to the Buddhist way in Thai societies 3) the goals of development of the youths according to the Buddhist way in Thai societies 4) the beginning point of arising of the development of youths according to the Buddhist way in Thai societies
5) the promotion of desirable traits in development of the youths according to the Buddhist way in Thai societies 6
) Role played the social institutions in supporting the development of youths according to the Buddhist way in Thai societies
