Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

 

                      This research was conducted with the following objectives : 1) To study an academic administration of excellent Phrapariyattidhamma schools on Pali Section in Bangkok, 2) To compare an  academic administration of excellent Phrapariyattidhamma schools on Pali Section in Bangkok following main idea of administrator and  teachers based on their different, and 3) To study suggestions concerning an  academic administration of excellent Phrapariyattidhamma schools on Pali Section in Bangkok following main idea of administrator and  teachers. This is survey research. The research sample were 145 administrator and teachers of Phrapariyattidhamma schools on Pali Section in Bangkok. The research tools were the constructed questionnaires. The statistics used for analysis of data were Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation (S.D.), t-test and One-way Analysis of  Variance ( ANOVA).

                     


                      The results of research finding that :

                      1.    An  academic administration of excellent Phrapariyattidhamma schools on Pali Section in Bangkok following main idea of administrator and  teachers were at the high level was that of the assessment and evaluation aspect (3.37), When considered individual aspects, they were at the moderate level; the 1st rank of mean was that of the curriculum administration respectively aspect, followed by the aspects of instruction management and instruction media, At the lowest percentage is Supervision (2.96) when condiser as a whole we found that the opinion of administrator and teachers is moderate (3.30).

                      2.    The comparative result the opinion of administrator and teachers of excellent Phrapariyattidhamma schools on Pali Section in Bangkok. Classifying by status, ages in Buddhism, knowleges in Dhamma and Education degree found that was not significantly different at .05 level. Whe classifying by ages and experience in status found that was significantly different at .05 level.

                      3.    The suggestion for managing the department for administrator and teacher of excellent Phrapariyattidhamma schools on Pali Section in Bangkok  were as follows;  1) The curriculum administration respectively, the institute should create an extra course to help develop our administrator and teacher such as language course , preaching course. This count as 20%,
2) The instruction management, the institute should provide more educational field trip not to spend all the time in classroom. This count as 21.8%,  3) The instruction media, the institute should provide more modern equipment such as projector to attract more attention from student. This count as 21.4 %,  4) The assessment and evaluation, the institute should evaluate many different ways such as knowledge or behavior. This count as 13.1%,   5) The library, the institute should encourage more student to spend more time in the library. This count as 29.0%,  6) The supervision, the institute should provide more training every year to help create more new knowledge to the teacher. This count as 26.2%.
